Measure the length and breadth of the room in feet and multiply them to get the size of your room(in square feet). Do not have a measuring tape? Not to worry we got you covered.

Without measuring tape

Use your foot, walk toe to heel across the length and breadth of the room. The average length of the Indian foot is around 9-10 inches. Note down the number of steps you take and multiply by 10 to get in inches, and finally multiply by 0.08 to get in feet. 

Suppose you take 10 steps along the length of the room and take 8 steps along the breadth of the room .

Length: 10 steps*10 inches= 100 inches*0.08 ft = 8ft.

Breadth: 8 steps*10 inches= 80 inches*0.08 ft = 6.4ft.

1. How to use Bajaj Platini Air Cooler?

This air cooler like any normal cooler is easy to use. Fill water using a pipe in the inlet, up to the maximum capacity. Switch on the air cooler and start the fan using the dial provided. There is another dial control to switch the pump on to give you the cooling effect and simultaneously start the rotation of direction blades.

For optimum usage, keep the cooler near the window and allow the air to exit from the opposite side of the window to give you cross ventilation. Most of the coolers function well in cross ventilation.

2. How to clean Bajaj Platini Torque cooler?

The air cooler is known for its low maintenance aspects. But all the coolers require some maintenance for optimum functioning, remove water from the cooler when not in use, or change the water every 3-4 days to prevent the foul smell. There is a water draining hole provided which lets you drain all the water. Also, clean the honeycomb pads once in a month to remove dust and other particles.

Use a normal wet cloth to clean the water storage tank and use water and cloth to clean the pads. Pads are easily removable using the plastic lock behind.

The company claims it can be used in coastal regions although we do not suggest using it in high humid regions. It can be used in low to medium humid regions and requires you to add ice water into the cooler.
